I don’t think anyone in the US ever thinks about PR either. I find it fascinating that they’re joining the US military–even now, during this ridiculous war? Are they crazy? Are prospects down there that dim?

i like that you live in the ghetto. like you said, the other part of the city is not real. and although i would imagine it must be tempting sometimes, you’re sticking with you gut and being true to yourself and your values. now that you have dog love, who knows what’ll be next? maybe you’ll see a cute baby and want to take it home! haha..just kidding anne marie.

ana maria i had a dream the other night about mary barnard. we were in her class and she came in all mean and businesslike – telling us we had tons of homework and if we missed one class we’d fail. at first we all just sat there in disbelief. then we all got really mad..hahaha i can’t remember the rest of the dream, but let’s just say we went out to mad mex and drank cosmos to work off the frustration. she didn’t even have that wonderful wispiness and exhaustion in her voice while she was lecturing us. i miss you and i sent you an email the other day. dave and i have been away for a while and i’m sad i didn’t get up off of my ass and chill with you this summer like i said i would. lo siento chica. voy a mantener nuestro contacto por tu blog. te amo.

AM! I don’t think you’re being too picky; you really don’t want to end up in a crappy place for a year because that may ruin an otherwise amazing experience.

I just got back to Lancaster and will be going to State College to start the move-in process tomorrow. I go back to work Tuesday. Ugh. I miss Indy already, but at least I have a reason to take a trip very soon! You’d better have a shoebox apartment big enough for me to at least sleep on the floor.
